Spanish Teacher 

Two Rivers Public Charter School is seeking a dynamic, dedicated Spanish teacher to become part of a vibrant educational community. 

Background 

Two Rivers Public Charter School serves a diverse group of over 970 students in preschool through eighth grade. Staff at Two Rivers create an exciting educational environment in which students and staff become a community of learners on a journey of discovery. Two Rivers uses Expeditionary Learning, an educational model that emphasizes interactive, hands-on, project-based learning. The school focuses on the whole child, recognizing the importance of character education and social-emotional needs of children while helping them achieve academic excellence.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak Spanish fluently AND
• Degree in Spanish, Spanish Education, or equivalent degree or
• Bachelor’s degree and passing score on (1) Spanish: World Language World PRAXIS and (2) Languages Pedagogy PRAXIS or
• Bachelor’s degree and two years of satisfactory lead teacher experience in Spanish or
• Bachelor’s degree and active OSSE certification or active certification from another state
