POSITION:  Elementary Teacher - Grade 3, 165 Contract, Four-Day School Week

SALARY RANGE: Licensed Staff Salary Schedule plus School District Comprehensive Benefits Package.  Salary Range starts at $36,030 depending on experience and education with additional opportunities for coaching, extra-duty responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:

• Minimum B.A./B.S. in Elem. Edu. Will consider applicants in process working towards degree
• Prefer additional coursework/endorsement in ESL or Linguistically Diverse Education.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Colorado standards and assessments
• Ability to facilitate data driven instruction in a standards-based classroom.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure student academic success/experience in elementary classroom.
• Strong background in integrating the teaching of reading and writing and math problem solving skills.
• Computer and Technology skills preferred.
• Emphasis in math or science highly desirable
• Able to work as a team member/experience with data driven instruction preferred.
• Experience working with diverse populations. Bilingual/Bi-literate in Spanish and English preferred.
• Experience, background or desire to teach Core Knowledge content desirable

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Assignment starting date is August 2022.
• Limited teacher housing available through Deer Trail 26J
• All contracts/agreements for employment of personnel shall be subject to the approval of the BOE.
