Job Summary: The Library Assistant reports to the building Librarian; this is a part-time position that provides assistance in the school library shelving books. Responsibilities may include data entry and record keeping; providing library user services, and assisting students, staff, parents, administrators, and the public to promote positive public relations for the school.

Salary: Salary is based upon the current NEOPA Salary Schedule (Level F); placement on the salary schedule will be determined by Human Resources DOE. FLSA Non-Exempt.

Work Year: 195 days per year, 2.0 hours per day.

Benefits: Washington state health insurance coverage (SEBB) and a Washington state retirement package, for eligible positions.  Generally, you are eligible for SEBB benefits if you are anticipated to work at least 630 hours per school year (September 1 through August 31).
