Job Description

Orofino Junior-Senior High School is seeking a student centered, motivated individual who possesses strong communication and relational skills. This individual should have skills from Industry background in any or all of the following:
•Sheet Metal Benchwork
•CNC Operating
•Natural Resources - Logging/Forestry Related

The individual will be responsible for obtaining an Idaho CTE endorsement, within applicable industry experience. Important to be able to work well with others. Must be willing to build community partnerships that provide students with opportunities to learn and grow through hands-on, experience-based learning.

Idaho Teaching Certificate with the appropriate endorsement(s) required or the ability to obtain the proper endorsements via a state program within three (3) years. Strong background in teaching methods, developmentally appropriate classroom activities and effective classroom management. Must demonstrate knowledge of subject matter and effective teaching methods. Strong background in the integration of technology with instruction. Ability to maintain a positive learning environment. Work well with students, staff and the public. Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills. Applicant must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
