Job Description

Missisquoi Valley Union Middle/High School is hiring an Assistant to the Director of Student Affairs for the 2022-2023 school year. This position provides team support and contributes to the smooth and efficient operation of the Office of Student Affairs. This is an hourly paid position that follows a school year calendar with approximately 200 working days in a year.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



? Provide student behavior information to the principal for inclusion in teacher supervision and evaluation processes.

? Maintain student behavior management information and other written materials pertaining to the Office of Student Affairs.

? Responsible for student supervision in areas designated by the Director of Student Affairs.

? Respond to teacher requests for immediate aid/assistance.

? Monitor students awaiting discipline meetings.

? Collaborate with guidance counselors regarding parent/student meetings when discipline and/or attendance may be an issue.

? Provide general supervision of common areas to include hallways, parking lots, commons, and theater.

? Assist Director of Student Affairs with student interviews/investigations as needed.
