POSITION:     Assistant Varsity Volleyball Coach – Deer Trail High School


SALARY RANGE:  Compensation dependent on coaching experience.

  • Certified/Licensed Teacher preferred, consideration
  • Experience in coaching Middle or High School Volleyball preferred; head or assistant coaching experience at other levels preferred
  • Personal experience either coaching or playing the sport to be coached is preferred
  • Certificate(s), licenses(s) or other legal credentials) required by CHSAA
  • Safety training in the sport (can be completed once hired)
  • Successful experience in record keeping and inventory procedures
  • Strong, positive, human relations and communication skills with impressionable student athletes
  • Philosophy which encourages individual growth and teamwork
  • Models sportsmanlike behavior at all times

CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATION:  All positions open until filled.


  • Assignment starting for this position is mid-February, willing to be flexible.
  • All contracts/agreements for employment of personnel shall be subject to the approval of BOE.
